Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• The combination of tool making technology and plastic moulding offers versatile and specialised training.
• In metal technology, you’ll learn the possibilities of metal processing (CNC milling) and the manufacture of injection moulding, cutting and bending tools.
• In plastic moulding, you’ll become a specialist in plastics processing and the manufacture of high-quality plastic parts.

Required skills:

• You have a technical understanding or an interest in technical issues.
• Your manual skills and your visual thinking distinguish you.

Desired skills:

• Your talents lie in mathematics and logical thinking, and you are conscientious, adaptive and reliable.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll learn all about electrical circuits and how these machines work. Switching, control, regulating and drive devices get everything going.
• You’ll find malfunctions yourself and eliminate them.
• You’ll draft assembly and circuit diagrams and build the appropriate control systems.
• A technical qualification, metalworking and electronics are therefore the right training for your tasks.

Required skills:

• Manual and finger dexterity for the preparation of assembly and circuit diagrams, safe work according to work drawings and circuit/wiring diagrams are exactly your thing.

Desired skills:

• You are characterised by reliability, technical understanding and accuracy for working exactly to plans.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• Your main tools are modern computer technologies and design/manufacturing software.
• You’ll prepare work drawings, models and sketches and create standardised drawings of parts, assemblies and components.
• In addition, you’ll learn to represent components in different perspectives and to carry out technical calculations for them.
• As well as calculating material requirements, you’ll plan, control and coordinate manufacturing processes and learn to assemble machines and systems.

Required skills:

• You have good spatial awareness.
• You have a sound basic knowledge of arithmetic, IT, English and a high degree of independence and reliability.

Desired skills:

• You’re characterised by your ability to concentrate and your logical thinking.
• You like working in a team and get involved in projects.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’re a specialist in plastics processing and the manufacture of high-quality plastic parts.
• The basic concepts of tool making are the foundation on which your specialist knowledge of plastics is built.
• You’ll learn how to control the plastics processing machines and how to check the quality of the plastic parts produced.

Required skills:

• You impress with your dexterity, accuracy and diligence when working with the finest measuring instruments.
• You have technical understanding, a sense of order, cleanliness and patience when dealing with difficult work.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll learn all about the construction, commissioning and testing of measuring equipment, but also about components and assemblies in regulation and control technology as well as mechatronic machines and devices.
• You’ll look for errors, defects and malfunctions in the automation systems of mechatronic machines.
• Your daily tasks will include maintenance and servicing.

Required skills:

• You’re in good physical condition and have a mathematical and technical understanding.
• You have manual dexterity, think logically and analytically and you are also a visual thinker.

Desired skills:

• Teamwork and communication skills distinguish you.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll work with your team and other specialists from the fields of electrical engineering, electronics and mechanical engineering.
• You’ll produce mechatronic components in apparatus, mechanical and plant engineering and assemble the components into mechatronic systems.
• The assembly of manufactured components and system parts is in your hands.
• You’ll commission the systems and operate them.

Required skills:

• Your technical interest and understanding, your talents in mathematics and logical thinking distinguish you.
• You’re a good visual thinker, have a willingness to work and enjoy working with computers.

Desired skills:

• You have manual dexterity, you’re accurate and you’re interested in electrics and electronics.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll maintain and repair machines and systems and also learn how to manufacture them.
• You’ll learn about the properties as well as the application and processing options of various materials.
• You’ll receive thorough training in metalworking and mechanical engineering and be prepared for this challenging work.
• You’ll fix malfunctions, find error sources, manufacture the appropriate spare parts, maintain and control systems and machines and put them into operation.

Required skills:

• You excel in manual metalworking as well as the safe handling of small and very small workpieces and tools.
• Your sense of order, cleanliness and technical relationships as well as your patience in dealing with difficult work are a matter of course for you.
• You have a technical understanding or interest in identifying the causes of machine malfunctions, as well as in using suitable materials for repairs.

Desired skills:

• You’re a good visual thinker and you value accuracy.
• You work carefully and can read and understand complex manufacturing drawings.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll learn how to provide and operate information and communication technology in an international manufacturing company. 
• In day-to-day business you’ll support and advise users, analyse errors and malfunctions and look for solutions.
• Managing users, as well as their authorisations and devices, is also included in your daily tasks.
• You’ll take care of the procurement, installation and setting up of digital workplaces.
• You’ll learn how to configure and operate networks and server landscapes in your own data centre or in the cloud.
• You’ll create and update technical documentation and training materials.

Required skills:

• You have a technical understanding and a great interest in computers, mobile phones, etc.
• You’re enthusiastic about technical innovations and challenges.

Period of apprenticeship: 3 years

Your tasks:

• You’ll learn how to support and develop different business applications step by step, such as: SAP
• Your day-to-day business will include user support, as well as searching for and correcting errors and malfunctions, among other things.
• You’ll support the requirements analysis and design (business) processes, new functionalities and interfaces.
• You’ll learn different programming languages as well as the structure of databases.
• You’ll create and update technical documentation and training materials.
• You’ll gain insights into the areas of ERP, CRM, ECM, BI and e-commerce.
