You are welcome to send a speculative application. However, please check before you submit a speculative application whether a suitable vacancy is already advertised (Vacancies). The success of a speculative application depends on whether we currently have, or will have in the foreseeable future, any positions that might suit your profile and areas of interest. Therefore, it’s very important that you let us know what type of job you are interested in when you submit your speculative application.
We like you to tell us which job you’re applying for, but also why you’re applying to us and why you’re the right new colleague for the team.
The application is speculative. Please upload a cover letter, your CV and certificates in a speculative application form. After receiving your application, we check whether we can offer the opportunity for an internship or a master’s thesis. The next step would then be a meeting with the person responsible for the department to discuss your and our interests and work out a topic that is exciting for both parties.
We usually offer several young people a summer job at Trodat or Trotec. This may be in the production/assembly division or in other specialist divisions. The decision about whether to offer holiday positions, and how many, is always made in spring.
To be able to work for us during the holidays, you must be at least 16 years old when you start working.
We recommend that you prepare well for the interview by asking yourself the following questions:
- Aside from what I can read on the internet, what else do I want to know about Trodat and Trotec?
- What do I want to know about the job, the department, my potential colleagues?
- Why am I suitable for the job?
- Why do I really want this job?
- What do I like about Trodat/Trotec?
